It is 36 years since the Bodecker's set out from Perth in April 1968 to write “The Sandgropers’ Trail”, and it remains a great fishing/travel book today.
Together they spent six months travelling 16,000 kilometres though the North West and Kimberley in a caravan and four wheel drive vehicle full of fishing gear, writing about the legendary fish and characters of the North West and Kimberley, before mining, industry, tourism and progress changed everything forever.
